Windell Middlebrooks, Miller High Life actor, dies at age 36.

Windell Middlebrooks, an accomplished actor who was best known as the no-nonsense delivery guy in the Miller High Life commercials, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015.

Very few details on the death have been released but his passing was confirmed by Mr. Middlebrooks publicist, Steve Ivey.

“The Middlebrooks, with sorrowed hearts, announce the passing of a young, black star. Windell took his final bow and with great joy exited stage left in the early morning of March 9th, 2015,” his family said in a statement Tuesday. Ivey told NBC News he was “devastated” by the loss of Windell, “but ultimately grateful for short time that he was able to spend with us.” “Windell was a brilliant person and a brilliant friend,” Ivey said. Middlebrooks was originally from Ft. Worth, Texas. He attended Sterling College in Kansas where he graduated with a B.A. in theater/communications. He later went on to complete a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting from the University of California at Irvine. While he was most recognized for his work in the Miller campaign, Middlebrooks had an extensive acting resume. He recently had a recurring role in the television program Body of Proof. He also appeared in Suite Life on Deck and Scrubs as well as numerous other television programs.
