September is Suicide Prevention Month. Rather than recap this week’s news, we are providing a list of suicide prevention resources. If you are troubled, speak up. If you know of someone who is suffering and may be contemplating suicide, start a conversation with them. It could mean the difference between life and death.
Sept 18, 2015–washingtonpost.com: A funeral for the nearly 13,000 Union soldiers and civilian captives who died at Andersonville prison, Ga., between February 1864, when it opened, and April 1865, when the surrender at Appomattox occurred, is planned for Sept. 19.
