Taylor Negron, an accomplished performer with a passion for stand-up comedy was born “Brad Negron” during the Cuban missile crisis in a split level home that looked like a pizza parlor during a Bicentennial celebration in Glendale, California. Negron recalls this locale with his trademark humor, “Glendale was so boring it made Burbank seem like Berlin in the early thirties.”
Taylor Negron is proud of being a native Angeleno and remembers “when the palm trees were shorter and “Tomorrowland” was modern. His education was limited. For Taylor, the 3 Rs were always “Reading, Writing, and Running away!”
Negron was a prolific character actor who began his entertainment career as an intern with Lucille Ball when he was 19. He studied acting under Lee Strasberg and joined an improvisation group that included Robin Williams, Martin Short, and Betty Thomas. He went on to become a respected stand-up comedian and in-demand film and television actor. His IMDB profile lists more than 125 appearances.
His death was announced in an emotional video posted on YouTube by his cousin, Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night fame.
