NEW ALLIANCE FOR FINAL EXPENSE PLANNING
Funeralwise and the FEPSA team-up to help consumers plan for and fund end of life expenses.Chicago, IL, September 25, 2018 – Funeralwise.com, an industry-leading funeral information resource, and the Final Expense Planning Specialist Association (FEPSA) have joined forces to offer consumers a new approach to final expense planning. FEPSA advisors now have exclusive access to an array of interactive planning tools and guides on Funeralwise.com. Through a secure Advisor Portal on Funeralwise.com, FEPSA advisors can collaborate with their clients to create a comprehensive end-of-life financial plan.
The Advisor Portal features a professional version of the Funeralwise Wise Planning System. The system includes the Quick Plan, a simple planner for basic choices, the Advanced Plan, a full-featured planner that allows users to create a detailed funeral plan, real-time cost estimates based on industry averages, and a variety of other options. The Wise Planning System is free of charge to consumers. The professional version for FEPSA Advisors includes enhanced features and back office functions.
“We are excited to be able to offer our funeral planning platform to a wider audience,” said Rick Paskin, Managing Partner of Funeralwise. “Until now, our Wise Planning System has only been available as a do-it-yourself system through our website. With the FEPSA partnership, our interactive planning tools can be used in a new way. FEPSA Advisors can guide families through the planning process. Their expertise and personal assistance helps families take full advantage of the system and is perfect for those who are not inclined to do it themselves.”
According to Ralph Wileczek, who co-founded FEPSA with Natalie Hunt, “Our collaboration with Funeralwise is a perfect blending of expert advice and state-of-the-art technology. We looked at other online funeral planners, and we found the Funeralwise Wise Planning System to be the best by far. Having specialized access to a powerful tool like the Wise Planning System gives our advisors something that final expense insurance agents don’t offer — the ability to help their clients create the funeral or memorial service they want at a price they can afford.”
